Enhancing Your Experience with BLAZE ECOM Social Login

BLAZE ECOM now offers a streamlined way for your customers to access their accounts using existing social media credentials. This update simplifies the account creation and authentication process, leading to higher engagement and improved conversion rates.

Flexible Login Options

We have updated the login interface to provide a more modern experience. Customers can now choose between traditional password-based authentication or any available social login methods. This flexibility ensures that customers can access their profiles using the method they find most convenient.

Strategic Login Prompts

To encourage account usage and provide a personalized shopping experience, new prompts have been integrated throughout the storefront:

  • Cart Interactions: A dismissible floating login prompt will appear whenever a customer adds items to their cart

  • Product Recommendations: Tailored prompts are now included within recommendation lists to highlight the benefits of being logged in while browsing products.

  • Checkout Integration: Social login options are available directly on the checkout page, reducing friction during the final stages of a purchase.

Account Creation and Data Syncing

When a customer selects a social login provider, they will be directed to that provider’s secure form to select their account and grant BLAZE ECOM access to the necessary profile data.

  • New Users: If it is the customer's first time visiting, they will be directed to a signup form. To save time, this form will be pre-filled with information from the social login partner.

  • Returning Users: Existing customers will be instantly recognized, allowing for a seamless transition to their saved preferences and order history.

For Returning Users: Email address will be the "source of truth" when matching a Greenline Customer profile to a profile created using social logins. If a customer profile in Greenline is created using no email address, a duplicate profile will be created in Greenline using the social login email address.
