BLAZE Multi-Provincial Dashboard [BETA] | Compliance Reporting Across Provinces

Every province uses a unique format for compliance reporting.  With the MPD, the Compliance tool generates the correct provincial report for any location in your organization.

How the Report Flow Works

The Compliance tool walks you through four steps:

  1. Province and location selection

  2. Review inventory corrections

  3. Report preview

  4. Report download.

Step 1 — Select Province, Then locations

  1. Under Select Province, choose the province you want to report for. Only provinces where your organization has active locations appear in the list.
  2. The Select Locations list then appears, showing only that province’s locations — drawn from every company in your organization and grouped by company name.
  3. Check the locations to include in the report, such as in the case where you have a front/back/vault inventory separation, you must select the appropriate location(s).

The page header updates to show your selection — for example, Compliance (Ontario). Changing the province clears your location selections so you always start that province’s report fresh.

Steps 2–4 — Corrections, Preview, Download

Inventory corrections, the report preview, and the downloaded file are all generated for the selected location’s province — not the province in your company’s general settings.

Selecting an Ontario location produces an ON-formatted report even if the company you’re logged into is based in BC. Pick a new location in Step 1 and Steps 2–4 refresh to match.

All Canadian provincial formats are supported from the single dashboard, including AB, BC, MB (with federal), NB, NT, NU, ON (one-click, periodic, sales, and federal), and SK.

Permissions

The province dropdown and location list respect user permissions: you will only see provinces and locations where the Can view reports permission is enabled. Regional managers set to one banner sees only that banner’s provinces and stores.

  • Your Step 1 selections remain after a browser refresh — the report keeps generating for the province and locations you picked.
  • If any location is missing its province, you will see: “Some locations are missing province information. Please confirm Settings > Locations has province selected for all locations to use the multi-province dashboard feature” — along with a list of the affected locations. Set the province on each location to clear it.
  • For Ontario reporting, each location’s License ID (Settings > Locations) is used to populate the report — make sure it’s filled in for every ON store.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Question

Answer

Can I run an Ontario report while logged into a BC company?

Yes. The report format follows the selected location’s province, not your company’s General Settings.

Why is a province missing from the dropdown?

Either your organization has no active locations there, or you don’t have the Can view reports permission for those locations.

Why did my location selections disappear?

Changing the province clears location selections, since each report is province-specific. Selections do persist through a browser refresh.

Why am I warned about locations missing province information?

Every location needs a province set (Settings > Locations) for the multi-province compliance flow to place it correctly. The warning lists exactly which locations to fix.
