BLAZE ECOM: Guest Checkout Settings

Follow this guide on enabling the recommended settings for Guest Checkout

Recommended Settings for Guest Checkout on BLAZE ECOM Mission Control

  1. Log into your BLAZE ECOM Mission Control
  2. Go to Settings > Store Configuration
  3. Under Checkout
    1. Set the toggle for Guest Checkout to Active - this may already be active by default
    2. Set the toggle for  Allow all users in Guest Checkout to Active
    3. Set the toggle for Save Checkout Info by Default to Inactive

  4. Under Authentication, click the drop down for Registration With Phone, select one of the following:
    1. Optional (recommended)- customers may or may not include their phone number when placing orders.  
    2. Hidden - customers are not required to provide a phone number
    3. Required (not recommended) - customers must include a phone number.  For the best performance on BLAZE ECOM, do not select this option.

Guest Checkout Flow on the BLAZE ECOM Store

Upon checkout, the customer must input their Contact Information before they're able to continue to the payment screen.

With the above recommended settings applied, customers will be able to checkout without having to save their contact information or creating an account.

Customers may still create an account from the checkout screen by checking the box for "Save checkout information".  Doing so will open a new window which will prompt the customer to sign up with the necessary details to create their account.


Once the customer has input their contact information, they will click Continue to payment

On the payment screen, the customer will confirm their contact information and select the desired method of payment.
The customer will then click Place Order.

After a few moments, the order will be placed on the BLAZE ECOM store and the customer will receive a confirmation of the order being placed, the order number and status.

Customer Profiles on Greenline and BLAZE ECOM

Once orders have been successfully submitted, a customer profile will be created on BLAZE ECOM Mission Control under the Customers tab, which includes the contact information that was input during checkout.

A customer profile will also be created on the Greenline dashboard with the same information used during checkout.

Return customers may continue to use Guest Checkout as long as they provide the same email upon placing their next order.  Orders will be logged on the customer profile that matches the provided email.
