Learn how the Product Recommendations feature on your BLAZE ECOM menu works
What is it?
Blaze ECOM provides the ability to enable Product Recommendations on your ECOM store menu. This delivers tailored recommendations to customers, driving increased sales and fostering greater engagement.
If a specific category is selected on the ECOM store page, the product recommendations will be based on that selected category.
Additional Product Recommendations to create higher cart values
In addition to the Product Recommendations on the initial ECOM site there are two further Product Recommendation feature in place:
1. Product Recommendation in between Cart and Checkout
This new feature generates an additional page of Product Recommendation for the customer when they click on the "Checkout" icon in their product cart, and this additional page is visible to the customer before they are directed to the final Checkout page. The Product Recommendation page sits in between exiting the product cart and the Checkout page:

2. Product Recommendations on the Checkout page
A further Product Recommendation feature has been established on the final Checkout page for your customers. Before the final checkout, your customers are now presented with additional product recommendations which they are able to add to their already existing product cart by one simple click:
For the two additional Product Recommendation features the following details are valid:
- The list of recommended products has simplified Product Cards in it that only allow customers to add the displayed products to the Cart
- Customers can not
- Open the Product Detail
- Navigate to the Brand Page for that Product
- Manage the quantity of Products to be added to the cart
- Product in these lists are filtered for price. The higher the Cart Value, the lower the Price of the Products
- Products already in the Cart will not be recommended
How Does It Work?
If a customer is logged into their ECOM profile and has enough completed purchase history, recommendations are based on a mix of previously purchased and/or trending products.
For customers that are not logged into an ECOM profile, recommendations are based only on trending products.
Trending Products are based on data from all completed orders on the POS, including BLAZE ECOM, walk-in and third party (i.e. Weedmaps, Leafly, etc) orders.
How to Enable Product Recommendations
Currently, the Product Recommendations feature must be enabled by your Greenline Onboarding Coach or the BLAZE ECOM Support Team.

Recommended Products Tracking on the Orders Tab
In BLAZE ECOM Mission Control, the Orders tab features an icon for ECOM orders that include recommended products.
Within the order details, that same icon is displayed next to each of the recommended products.
