Your BLAZEPAY merchant portal requires MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) for logging in to help prevent unauthorized access to user accounts.
What Is It?
In an effort to prevent unauthorized access to your merchant account portal, you will be required to scan a QR code into an app that generates a number to be used as an additional passcode when logging in.
Microsoft Authenticator
It is recommended that you use the Microsoft Authenticator app, downloaded to your smartphone from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Once the app is downloaded, open the app. Once you're on the main app screen, click the + in the top right corner:
- Select the type of account you want to use for authentication. Either Personal or Work will be fine:
- Click Scan QR Code:
- The Microsoft Authenticator app will then activate your smartphone camera. Centre the QR code shown on the login screen within the brackets on your phone screen to scan the code:
- Your login screen on the computer will display the QR code and the passcode input field:
- Once the QR code is scanned, the Authenticator App finish creating the profile for the merchant portal and display the 6-digit secure passcode that you will need to input to the merchant portal login screen:
- Once the 6-digit passcode is input to the login screen, click Continue and you will now be able to view your BLAZEPAY merchant portal:
The Microsoft Authenticator and other authentication apps, will refresh the 6-digit passcode every 30 seconds. Make sure when logging in that you input that passcode before it refreshes.
The following apps have been tested and confirmed to work with the merchant portal MFA login process:
