      BLAZEPAY: Terminal Menu Access

      This guide explains how to access the different menus within your BLAZEPAY V400m or V400c payment terminal

      Device Info

      The Device Info screen is where you can view the model type, serial number and software version.  This section may be helpful reference to help the Customer Support team troubleshoot the terminal

      On the BLAZEPAY terminal main screen:

      1. Hold down [5] and press the GREEN [O] confirm key
      2. The Device Info screen will appear

      You will only be able to view the information on this screen, it cannot be changed or reconfigured.

      Diagnostics Menu

      The Diagnostics menu helps to troubleshoot network and hardware functions within the terminal.

      It is unlikely that you will need to access this menu for normal day-to-day operation.  Please contact Customer Support or your Onboarding Coach if you have any concerns.

      On the BLAZEPAY terminal main screen:

      1. Hold down STAR [*] and press the GREEN [O] confirm key
      2. The Diagnostics menu will appear

      Options that appear within this menu:

      • Diagnostics Report
      • Network connection tests
      • Hardware tests for chip/swipe reader, keypad, etc.

      Payment Menu

      The Payment menu is where you can view transaction totals and history.

      To access each section within the Payment menu, you will be required to input the passcode 2900

      On the BLAZEPAY terminal main screen:

      1. Hold down the [8] key and press the GREEN [O] confirm key
      2. You will see the Payment Menu with two options:
        1. Totals
          1. View the current batch (or period start/end date) 
          2. Click the printer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to print totals
          3. Click the refresh icon to reset totals
        2. History
          1. View a list of transactions completed on the BLAZEPAY terminal
          2. Click a transaction to view the Transaction Details

      Settings

      The Settings menu is where you will set up the internet connection, run software updates and manually power down the payment terminal.

      The following options will require you to input the passcode 5265 to access each section.

      On the BLAZEPAY terminal main screen:

      1. Hold down the [9] key and press the GREEN [O] confirm key
      2. The Settings menu will appear with the following options:
        1. Device Info - the same screen shown when using the [5] + GREEN [O] key shortcut
        2. Network - manage wifi connections in this section
        3. Software - confirm software version and download updates
        4. Config - confirm and update the configuration version
        5. Diagnostics - the same screen shown when using the [*] + GREEN [O] key shortcut
        6. Power - restart or power off the payment terminal
