[ECOM Set-up](https://help.blaze.me/can/home/blaze-ecom?hsLang=en#ecom-set-up) # BLAZE ECOM | How to Enable and Use Tipping at Checkout for Merrco and Moneris ## This article will explain how to enable and use the tipping feature at checkout for stores using Merrco and Moneris as Payment Options - Tipping is not possible without Merrco / Moneris configured. - **"Allow Tips"** is toggled **off** by default. Follow this article to enable tipping. 1\. Toggle on **Allow Tips** and save.![](https://help.blaze.me/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Dec-18-2024-06-36-47-9504-PM.png?width=688&height=280&name=image-png-Dec-18-2024-06-36-47-9504-PM.png) The **"Allow Tips"** toggle controls both the before and after checkout tipping options. If turned on, customers can tip before and after they check out. If turned off, customers ***cannot*** tip before or after checkout.  It is not possible to mix the two tipping states and have one or the other turned off or on.  5\. When a customer selects the Moneris / Merrco option to pay there will now be an **"Add Tip"** section underneath payment options at Checkout. 6\. Customers will be able to choose between None, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 15%, or be able to add a custom tip amount.![image (148)](https://help.blaze.me/hs-fs/hubfs/image%20(148).png?width=688&height=606&name=image%20(148).png) - Customers are unable to tip under $1. - Tipping percentage (%) cannot be changed. 7.  If a customer did not leave a tip prior to submitting their order, they will have the option to add a tip after their order submission on the order success page.  A "**Show support with a tip"** box will be prompted for the customer if they decide to add a tip.  ![](https://help.blaze.me/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Dec-18-2024-06-44-19-0243-PM.png?width=688&height=391&name=image-png-Dec-18-2024-06-44-19-0243-PM.png) This box will only be prompted if  "**Allow Tips**" is enabled and the customer did no leave a tip prior to submitting their order.
