What Happens If Sub-Categories Are Not Unique!?
BLAZE ECOM tries to prevent duplicate web page listings from appearing in an effort to bolster SEO and provide the customer with the best search and filter options on the store menu.
If identical sub-categories are present on your Greenline dashboard, BLAZE ECOM will make these unique by placing a number alongside the sub-category name.
In the following example, you will see the sub-categories of Dried Flower as Hybrid 2, Indica 2, Sativa 2.

To help streamline your customers' experience on your ECOM store, it is important to make sure that you're using all unique sub-categories!
Once the sub-categories are unique, you will have a more organized BLAZE ECOM store.
Strain Types vs. Sub-Categories and How to Manage Them
You may have already set up sub-categories on your Greenline dashboard by using strain types for the naming conventions.
While this is a great way to organize your products, using strain types as sub-categories is not absolutely necessary.
Strain Types are an independently filterable option on BLAZE ECOM as long as those strain types are set to your products on Greenline.
This gives you the chance to use more specific sub-category naming conventions and considering the range of product offerings nowadays, providing your customers with more granular detail can only help!
