Learn how to set up your v400c Plus, v400m Plus, and S1F2 terminals for seamless transactions. Follow these simple steps to insert paper rolls, connect to Ethernet or Wi-Fi, onboard your terminal, and integrate it with your POS.

BLAZE PAY works with the following terminals:
- v400c Plus
- v400m Plus
- S1F2
Step 1. Insert Paper Roll

- Lift the latch on the paper compartment and lower the cover.
- Insert the paper roll, ensuring a slight protrusion.
- Shut the paper roll compartment cover.
Step 2. Connect to the Network
Ethernet Connection
This connection only works with the v400c Plus
- Take one end of the Ethernet cable and insert it into the Ethernet LAN port on the terminal. This port is typically labeled as "ETH" or features a LAN symbol.
- Once securely plugged into the terminal, locate an available Ethernet port on your router. These ports are usually labeled numerically (e.g., LAN 1, LAN 2) or simply as "Ethernet."
- Insert the other end of the Ethernet cable into one of the available Ethernet ports on your router. Ensure it fits snugly to establish a stable connection.
⚠️ Warning: Using an incorrect cable type or plugging the Ethernet cable into the wrong port, such as the RS232 port, could cause serious harm to the terminal. Ensure you are confident in the cable and port.
Wi-Fi Connection
This connection works with the v400c Plus, v400m Plus, and the S1F2
- Depending on your terminal, you can press 9 button then Confirm button (Green Circle) to get to the menu
- Select Configure Network on the terminal
- You may be asked for a passcode - enter 5265
- Choose Wi-Fi
- Turn the Wi-Fi toggle switch to on
- Select the + icon to add a network
- Choose your network and enter your Wi-Fi password
- Alternatively, you can select add manually and enter the name (SSID) of the Wi-Fi network and your password
- Select the check mark to confirm and you should now see the Wi-Fi icon at the top of the display
Step 3. Onboard your Terminal
- Select Board Terminal on the terminal screen
- Each of your store locations that have been approved by BLAZE PAY will appear on the terminal
- Select the location you are onboarding the terminal for and select the locations address from the list
This process may take a while. Some terminals will require updates so ensure you are setting aside enough time to allow the terminal to update. These can take up to a few hours.
⚠️ It is expected that the terminal will restart multiple times to finish the onboarding process.
Step 4: Connect your terminal(s) to your BLAZE POS
Each terminal will need to be onboarded separately
- Navigate to your BLAZE Can dashboard
- Select Settings > Payments
- Select your Location > Select the BLAZE PAY Settings icon
- Click the terminal set up tab
- Select Add terminal
- Select the BLAZE Terminal
- This will be the POS Device you want to connect the terminal to (POS Device ID)
- Select the Card Reader ID
- The ID consists of the terminal type - the terminal serial number (which you can find on the back of the terminal processor)

Once this is completed, BLAZEPAY will now show up as a payment option on your POS.
Repeat steps 3 through 7 for as many payment processing devices you want to connect to your POS Devices.
Step 4. Update BLAZEPAY terminal software

This could take up to an hour. It is recommended to perform this update outside business hours to avoid transaction disruptions.
Congratulations! Your terminal is now ready to use with the BLAZE POS.
