BLAZEPAY is a payment solution by BLAZE POS aimed at simplifying business transactions. This guide covers the application process, supported terminals, ordering procedures, and provides resources for seamless setup.
Introduction to BLAZEPAY
Welcome to our guide for getting started with BLAZEPAY – the payment solution designed to consolidate your tech stack and streamline your business transactions both in-store and online. In this guide, we'll walk you through the essential steps of applying for BLAZEPAY, the terminals supported, how to order terminals, and provide you with valuable resources to set up your payment system seamlessly.
How to Apply for BLAZEPAY
Applying for BLAZEPAY is quite straight forward and you can do so directly from your BLAZE Canada dashboard.
- Log in to your BLAZE Canada dashboard
- Navigate to Settings > Payments
- Select the desired location
- Select the "Connect" button
- You will be prompted to enter your email and you can change the display name of the payment method. The merchant name (location name) and organization name (company name) will automatically be set for you.
⚠️ Important note: It is a requirement that you use an email address associated with your BLAZE Canada dashboard login. Furthermore, each company must use a unique email address for their account; sharing email addresses across multiple companies is not permitted. - Click save
- You will receive an email titled Invitation to Join BLAZE for Payment Processing (be sure to check your spam folder if not received within 5 minutes)
- Click accept invitation
- You will be prompted to sign in. Enter your email and password (the same one you use for your BLAZE Canada dashboard)
- You will then be prompted to accept the processing fees and select I agree
- Next, you will be asked to fill out a Merchant Application. For this application you will need the following information:
- Your legal business name
- Company Structure
- Private company: your company is owned privately and not traded on a public stock exchange
- Public company: Your company is traded on a public stock exchange, and has to disclose financial information to the public regularly
- Incorporated partnership: An agreement between two or more people who run a business together

- Organization type (ex: Sole Proprietorship)
- Your legal business name
- Business address
- Business phone number
- Company Website
- A copy of your store retail cannabis license
- Select Launch Merchant App
- For the next section, you will need the following information:
- Image of a government issued form of identification, such as your driver's license or passport.
- SIN & Date of Birth of all individuals who directly or indirectly own 25% or more of the company.
- Bank account information for settlement of funds. Federal Tax ID (EIN/TIN).

- The proof of bank account can be any of the following:
- Bank statements
- Deposit tickets or deposit forms
- Screenshots of your online banking environment
- Official letters issued by a bank
- Cheques
- The proof of bank account can be any of the following:

The bank account documents will require:
- Your name. This must match your legal entity name or trading name. This must match your legal entity name.
- The account number needs to be visible.
- The date of issuance needs to be visible and needs to be dated less than 12 months ago.
- The country/region where the bank account is located.
- An indicator that the document was issued by a bank, such as the bank name, a bank logo or a bank-specific font.

- Next you will be prompted to complete your profile, fill out all of the information (once the questions are filled out you will see a check mark with a verification that the information has been completed)
- Personal details
- [Business type] details
- Payout details
- Sign services agreement
- PCI DSS Questionnaire
- At the bottom of the screen you will see a navigation button to go back to the BLAZEPAY Merchant portal
- On this page you will see your verification status

- Approvals will take 2 to 7 business days as long as all appropriate documentation has been submitted
- Navigate back to your BLAZE Canada dashboard > Settings > Payments
- Once you are fully approved, you will see a green check mark beside the BLAZEPAY. If you are still awaiting approval you will see a clock icon
Supported Terminals and How to Order Them
BLAZEPAY supports three different types of terminals:

V400c Plus
- Works with Ethernet or WiFi connection

V400m Plus
- WiFi connection only

S1F2
- WiFi connection only
Once you have been approved, our team will reach out to you to take your terminal order. Terminals can be rented or purchased outright.
