POS (Browser) - Order Hub (Formerly Parked Sales)

Learn how to view and interact with Online and Parked Sales from the Order Hub.

The Order Hub not only allows you to interact with online orders or place an in-store order in a “pending” sale status, but also provides a seamless experience in managing orders from various e-commerce providers. For instance, if you are temporarily holding an order for a customer in-store and they forgot their wallet in the car, you can easily 'park' that sale and place it on hold. Here, you will find all e-commerce order statuses and have a user-friendly way to interact with orders from BLAZE ECOM and other e-commerce providers.

How to View All Online and Parked Sales

You will see the Order Hub button on the main checkout screen when there are no products in the cart. (If one or more products have already been added, you will see the option to park a sale instead.) Click on Online Orders to view orders from e-commerce platforms like BLAZE ECOM. The Parked Sales button will bring up orders that started in-store but were parked before completion.

Once on one of these tabs, you can easily find more details about the orders, such as the customer name, order number, date, products, and applicable charges. There are several user-friendly filtering options here that will make finding a specific order a breeze, and there is even a search bar at the top to look by name or order number.

Clicking an order here will add it to the main checkout screen and allow you to complete, cancel, or repark the sale for a later time. Please look at additional options on this screen for deleting an order and printing a packing slip or receipt.

On this same screen, you will also see the cloud icon with an arrow that is used to save and store this sale for later. To the right of this button, you will see the button that allows you to cancel an order, add notes, or print a packing slip.

How to Park a Sale

Parking a sale is a special term we use to indicate the order will be set aside temporarily in order for you to ring up new sales without cancelling the current one. To park a sale, click the 'Park' button at the bottom of the order details. This action will initiate a popup that allows you to add a customer name, mark the sale as ready for pick-up, and generate an order number for the sale.

If your store accepts online orders from BLAZE ECOM or other integration partners such as Buddi or Dutchie, when you check the “Ready for pickup” box, a message will be sent to the customer letting them know that their order is ready for pick up.

Notification of Online Sales

When using the WebPOS and an online order comes in, you will receive a visual and audio notification as long as you have enabled this feature under Settings.

Maintaining Your Online and Parked Sales List

New orders will appear on the bottom. As your online and parked sales accumulate, you must clean periodically.

Sales not processed because the customer never returned to complete the transaction should be reviewed and removed. If these sales are not completed, your online and parked sales list will grow, making it difficult to find active orders effectively.

Online/Prepaid orders

The store needs to acknowledge pre-paid sales. For example, if customers pay online and pick up their orders, they will remain on the online sale list until the budtender updates the "ready for pick up" status to "complete."

If these sales are not acknowledged, your parked sales list will grow, making it difficult to find active parked orders effectively.

How to Validate Online and Parked Sales

You can scan or manually validate the correct products to ensure the order is fulfilled and continue processing the sale. This feature must be enabled in the dashboard settings under Settings > Inventory > Parked sale barcode validation. For more information, refer to the "POS (iOS)—Parked sale barcode validation" article.
