Why doesn’t this report add up to the penny?
Greenline’s system integrates multiple cost calculation methods (e.g., Weighted Average Cost, Last Cost) with actual costs from purchase orders. These variations can cause minor discrepancies between system-generated values and manual calculations. Such variances are expected and ensure greater flexibility and accuracy in reflecting real-world business conditions.
How does this report calculate the values?
This report takes into consideration the inventory cost settings you have enabled on Greenline and uses the relevant cost from the selected end date filter. To learn more about inventory cost settings in Greenline, click here.
