POS (Tablet)- Customer Profiles

Learn how to view existing customer profiles and create new customers profiles.

The Customers section of your POS (Gr logo > Customers) provides a list of customer profiles where you can search for existing customer profiles and add new customer profiles.

Customer contact information and purchase details will appear in the list. 

Create a customer profile

To add a new customer profile click the +Add button on the top right of the customer list.

The Add Customer pop-up will appear with various fields where you can enter information provided by your new customer; such as name, birthday, email and phone number. 

If a customer's email address is entered into the customer profile, that email address will auto-populate when choosing to Email Receipt at the end of a sales transaction.

*Please note: There is a Tax exempt setting that can be toggled on or off. Currently, the tax exempt option disables all taxes from being applied to a customers purchases.

This may not be desirable as, in general, not all products are exempt from taxation, such as recreational cannabis products.

Tax exempt status typically only applies to provincial tax, not federal tax

Please take this into consideration before toggling tax exempt on in a customer profile. 

Once you have entered the preferred customer information, click the Save button to save the new customer profile. 

View and edit an existing customer profile

Tap on a customer's name from the Customers section of your POS (Gr logo > Customers) to open the Customer details pop-up screen.

Here you can edit existing customer information, add new customer information and view customer sales receipts. Once you have entered new information, or edited existing information, please save your changes by clicking the Save button. 

Click on the receipt icon in the Receipts section to the right to view a customer's past sales receipts. Here you can review past purchases, and email or print a customers sales receipts. 

*Please note: You cannot refund, or process a return, from the Customer details section of the POS.

Refunds and returns must be processed from the Sales section of the POS (Gr logo > Sales).
