Click-and-collect and embedded menus

 

 

Buddi is an online click-and-collect service that integrates with BLAZE's parked sale feature to support online and pay-in-store collect models. Here are some key features:

  • Menu embed: Show your menu on your website.

  • Click-and-collect: Let customers place a pickup order through your website either paying online or in-store.

  • In-Store Kiosks: Allow customers to place orders on in-store kiosks and visit Buddi's cannabis education centre.

  • LP product catalog: Automatically pull the latest THC/CBD/Terpene profiles from Buddi's LP product catalog.

Connect your BLAZE account to Buddi

  1. Login to your BLAZE dashboard

  2. Navigate to Integrations > Overview

  3. Find the Buddi block (note: Buddi has two integration blocks - one for your online menu and the other for your in-store kiosk system)

  4. Toggle the "Active the integration" button on (green)

     

  5. An email will automatically populate with the credentials needed for Buddi to make the connection on their side. Click send to email this to the Buddi representative.

  6. Buddi will now have access to the necessary data from your BLAZE system for your integration

    1. To review the allowed permissions, click the blue "Show" link

Once the account connections are completed, Buddi will let you know. There is no need for you to reach out to BLAZE support at this time.

Note: If the "Activate the integration" button is toggled off, Buddi will no longer have access to your information.

Your store operations (not paid online)

  1. A customer will place an order on your embedded website menu

  2. You will receive an audio / visual alert on your POS

  3. The order will populate under the POS parked sales > online orders tab with the customer's name and Buddi label (inventory will not be removed)

  4. When an order is picked, packed, and ready for pickup, you must use Buddi's dashboard to update the status

  5. NOTE: If you are using BLAZE's online order and parked sale management - setting an order as ready-for-pickup will NOT update on Buddi. This is a feature request the team is aware of

  6. When the customer enters your store to pick up the order, add the order to the cart from the parked sales tab

  7. When the order is paid for, the parked sale will be removed, a sale will be added, and your inventory will be removed

Store operations (paid online)

  1. A customer places a Buddi order and pays for it online with a credit card.

  2. The sale will be automatically created on BLAZE and inventory removed.

  3. There will be a parked sale corresponding to the sale that can be found on the POS parked sale > online order tab

  4. When the order is successfully delivered/given to the customer, you can set the order to be "Completed"

FAQ

Will customer profiles be created or updated in BLAZE when they place an order on Buddi?

Yes, emails and phone numbers are used to either verify and update existing customer profiles or create new ones if there are no matches in the system. This will happen automatically when a new order is placed.

Will my discounts in BLAZE sync to my Buddi profile?

Yes, BLAZE and Buddi have integrated discounts. Discounted sales prices will sync into Buddi, as long as the discount is set as an Automatic Discount in BLAZE.

Will my discounts in Buddi stack with my discounts in BLAZE?

When you have a discount in BLAZE and a discount set up in Buddi for the same product, the discounts will not stack. The discount from Buddi will take precedence.

When you are utilizing Buddi's customer discount codes: the discount from the code will be applied to any existing discounts and will therefore stack.

Will my inventory be put on hold for non-paid orders?
No. BLAZE does not have an inventory-on-hold feature at this time.

How frequently does Buddi update inventory?
Every 10 minutes.

Why does Buddi show a different THC/CBD level from BLAZE?
Buddi maintains its own internal product database with its own THC/CBD values.

However, if you would like your cannabis products to show exact THC/CBD values on your Buddi menu follow the steps below:

  1. Enter your THC/CBD on BLAZE

  2. Reach out to your Buddi representative, they can change this setting on their end to make sure they are pulling these fields into your Buddi menu directly from BLAZE

    1. You will need to let them know what your primary value measurements are (% or mg/g) for each category (Flower, Pre-Roll, Vape, Concentrate, etc.)

  3. Your Buddi menu will now show the same THC/CBD levels as you have in your BLAZE product list

Troubleshooting

  1. My products are not syncing with Buddi

    1. Ensure both the Buddi Store and Buddi Online integrations are enabled on your dashboard.

    2. Ensure a purchase order has been completed.

    3. Ensure the products have inventory attached to them.

    4. Once the purchase order is completed the sync will pull over all the in-stock products and show them on the menu and in the Admin Portal
